BONJOUR!

My name is Betsy. I’m a freelance graphic designer, a blogger and a big fan of all things beautiful and unique.Other than shopping, vintage fashion and interior design I am crazy about reading, flea markets, vintage style lingerie and stockings, leopard print, cocktails, dancing, romance, unique and weird books, boudoir arts, people watching, mysterious photography, strong and fabulous woman, velvet, pin ups, city nights, kissing… Lets just say I like to indulge in frivolity.

Travel in Style!

The style, the luxury, the glamour! Yes, I also have an obsession with vintage suitcases. Although I haven't allowed myself to purchase one because I'm currently on a budget, I'll share some beauties with you girls! But I think I will, at some point, have to give in. If you're interested in buying vintage luggage read this first... How to buy a vintage suitcase

Vintage luggage is totally multipurpose, you can do just about anything...

I am also in love with vintage suitcases - and, like you, am on a budget which means I cannot afford one :(
Thanks for sharing these beauties though, they're a bit like my guilty pleasure. One day, however, I will get off a flight with one and look all Jackie-O. One day...

Funnily enough I wrote a blog post with the same title yesterday without seeing this post before now!
I also love vintage suitcases, I dream of travelling by train with a vintage suitcase and hat box, wearing pretty clothes and knowing I'm going somewhere nice.

I adore vintage suitcases, I have quite a collection. I have to be a bit odd though, I love the musty smell they give your clothes!

I adore every single one that you posted! I want to get a few and stack them kind of like the red ones to make a little end table....maybe it'd work.

Ahh, I love vintage suitcases. I wish they were easier to travel with these days- the last time I flew with one it was ruined by the baggage handlers!

Charlotte Tea: I hope that one day comes soon for you Charlotte!

A red lipstick: Oh I would love to travel by train one day. Maybe the Maharaja Express or on The Royal Scotsman. Ah that would be lovely!

suzie chaney: You lucky girl! Thanks Suzie!

Starr Crow: That's a great idea! Please let me see the results when you're done.

LauraKitty: They do tend to roughly throw around the luggage! that's to bad...

Love, Betsy.
